Hood Cleaning

Hood cleaning starts with protecting your cooking equipment and nearby surfaces with plastic sheeting. Baffle filters are removed and soaked in heated degreasing solution while we apply solvent to all interior hood surfaces and scrape accumulated grease to bare metal. The visible ductwork entry point is cleaned, filters are reinstalled, and a service certificate is affixed to the hood. The kitchen is left operational when we leave.

Exhaust Fan Cleaning

We access the rooftop fan housing safely using equipment appropriate for your building type. Fan blades and the interior of the housing are scraped and degreased. The grease collection cup or hinge-down assembly is emptied and cleaned. We inspect the motor, drive belt, and mounting hardware for signs of wear or loosening. Airflow is confirmed before we come down from the roof.

Grease Trap Cleaning

We access the grease trap — typically located under the kitchen sink or in an exterior vault. The liquid contents are pumped out. Solid grease accumulation is removed from the walls and baffles. Inlet and outlet baffles are inspected, cleaned, and checked for blockage. The structural condition of the trap is recorded in the maintenance log. You receive a written copy of the service record for your files.

Filter Exchange

Our technician arrives with pre-laundered replacement filters sized for your hood. Used filters are pulled and replaced immediately with the clean set. We inspect the filter mounting tracks and hood interior surfaces while the filters are out. Used filters go to our cleaning facility where they are treated with commercial degreasers, rinsed, dried, and inspected before use as replacements on the next cycle.
